Re: Tore - career over? Out for the season
Loans aren't the problem. It's better to take players like Tore on loan because whatever the annual loan fee it will be less than buying the player on a 5 year contract and having to pay that up...

And just because players go back to their clubs doesn't mean they don't have to keep on paying for them for the loan period.

ridiculous state of affairs , when Jenkinson was injured last season he went strait back to his parent club for treatment , who agrees to these stupid loans .

Re: Tore - career over? Out for the season
Doesn't matter does it? It's whatever we've agreed to pay him, which I imagine will almost certainly be more.

The bit where they 'confirm west ham will not take the option' cracks me up.

scorch - how much could his wages have possibly been at beskitas?

Re: Tore - career over? Out for the season
Would love to know the actual injury (apart from "surgery on his knee") that threatened to end his career and now has him out for the season. we have more "knee" and "thigh" injuries than you can shake a stick at

Re: Tore - career over? Out for the season
Great. So we'll have to foot his wages then.

At least we don't have to include him in our 25 man squad after Christmas.

One of the worst signings of recent times.

Such a sad end to a disappointing signing. He was really good for me on FIFA16, just in that pesky real world where it all went wrong.

Our for the season.

But that would make the parent club responsible if the club they've loaned the player to uses DINOSAUR training methods.

The sort of steaming pile of turd this season is turning out to be with summer bummer signings

Re: Tore - career over?
Shame they can't stick an injury clause into future loan contracts where by you can send them back and effectively cancel the contract.

I think this is a good idea, would help football league clubs in particular and avoids the Jenkinson sitchuation of last year. Think the players owner should be liable for the player being out of action not the loan club,

Re: Tore - career over?
Ok if you're persisting, you've introduced a third party, 'the insurance company' to YOUR original two-party analogy.

Who does the insurance company represent in the Tore situation? Besiktas?

I'm sorry that you're such a cock.

Re: Tore - career over?
It wouldn't be me, would it? The hire company would sort it out. Too late to backtrack now, just apologise and move on.

Trevor B 11:52 Wed Dec 14
Re: Tore - career over?
No, you would expect the insurance company to pay for them. Poor attempt gank, try harder.

gank 11:51 Wed Dec 14
Re: Tore - career over?
Trevor B, you really are a thicko. If I hired a car and smashed it up, then YES, I would expect the hire company to sort out the repairs.

Re: Tore - career over?
I thought he did ok in Bournemouth game. Wasn't it his cross that Antonio headed in? I know he was poor since, but that game showed he had potential.

Where did you here that? Plus what about Feghouli ?

Re: Tore - career over?
HIS cross for Antonio was decent for the late winner vrs the cherries

shame still think as an impact sub he might be ok if he finds a bit of form and confidence

dr moose

that would be rather harsh though, wouldn't it, seeing as he sustained the injury whilst under our employ? it would be like hiring a car, smashing it up and expecting the hire firm to repair it.
